LECTURE

There will be 4 progressive Task with each Task comprising two assignments that you will have to complete at intervals and present to the class during critique sessions. On top of skills development, art style exploration is highly encouraged as well as time management.

Assignment information 
We need to create 1 original character (OC) hero/villain.
The theme will be new characters from HoYoverse's video game GENSHIN IMPACT.

Similar to the game's existing characters, your character must be designed to have bipedal humanoid features of torso, arms and legs and head. But you can expand that design according to your capacity, imagination and universe's more. You have the freedom to design, but in the end, your characters should be able to present all of your ideas on their own and fit in Genshin Impact's world.

Project Theme
I am going to create a new character for Genshin Impact. Carry out visual research from existing sources exp: art books, screen shots, assets an so on. and combine these with your ideas of a new character.

Task 1

My character personification: 
Power: Control the water and sea animal will listen to her instructions
Weapon: Trident
Name: Ayumi

Ayumi is a hydro character, and she can control the water and she can give instructions to the sea animals and they will listen. Ayumi is a girl who abandoned by her parents, since she was a very young girl. She always playing with the water and the sea animals when she was alone. Slowly she is closer to the sea and she also create a weapon for herself to fight with the enemies and stranger to protect herself.

REFLECTION

Experience
Character design is an interesting module and fun, in this character design is a very challenging and struggle module. I  do research many for the design and its help me a lot and I start draft out by doing reference from my research. Next, we need to think our character is most struggle step we need to think what our character is need to look like?, What power we need to design?, How is it look like?, How the outfit is need to look like? and many question we need to think.

Observation
The ability to complete tasks with few constraints can keep things interesting, but too much freedom can also be a hidden challenge. When creating outfit and the weapons we need to think what design is most suitable for our character, but I am enjoyed it, at the same time I afraid to keep rest it. 

Findings
In this assignment, I found that the power we am going to choose is important because my we need to draw out the power and the weapon of the power and the outfit that match to the power. I found that they didn't seem to be what I imagined. But I'm very enjoyed this assignment.
